Tracy Hayson – Winner of the Women in Property Award

Tracy’s leadership, vision, and dedication to the industry continue to inspire. Her commitment to ethical, inclusive planning and her influence across both public and private sectors make her a truly deserving recipient of this award.

Bill Wasley – Recipient of the Long Service Award

Founder of Wasley Knell (now Hayson Knell), Bill’s career is a masterclass in visionary leadership. From his role as Government-appointed Commissioner for Tauranga City Council to decades of shaping urban development strategies across New Zealand, Bill has consistently championed community outcomes and integrated planning. His legacy includes transformative civic projects and regional growth strategies that will benefit generations to come.

Aimee Palmer – Finalist for Young Achiever of the Year

Aimee represents the next generation of property leaders – driven, innovative, and community-focused. Her energy and insight are already making waves in the industry through her involvement in key development projects, founding of the Tauranga Emerging Property Professionals group, and advocates nationally for young planners as the Bay of Plenty representative for NZPI Emerging Planners.

Congratulations to all the finalists and winners on the night. These contributions are shaping the future of our industry. And a huge thank you to Property Council NZ – Central Region for hosting a fantastic event and bringing our property community together.
